... we're trying to find your current e-mail address to send you an invitation to the big retirement party for you-know-who. I know you're still out there but we don't know how to reach you. Could you comment or e-mail?

It's Tucson, by the way, (still an English teacher inside there somewhere) and if by you-know-who you mean a certain raspy-voiced crumudgeon, then I don't believe you - he would never retire.

Do you still have a verizon email account?

Great to hear from you! Hope you're well. The other longtime veteran of the department is organizing the festivities and asked me to find your current e-mail address.

My current address is a gmail account - no access to verizon anymore now that I'm living with the journalism teacher. The address is the first two letters of my first name, plus my last name, at gmail.com. Or you can just e-mail me at epiphanyinbaltimore@gmail.com.
